Hen’Pals Online Charity Auction & Items so far…

Updated: 09/02/17

Hen’Pals is a Facebook group run by ourselves, Gemma & Diane, with the help of our moderators Toni and Kris. It’s a place where people come together and share their love and knowledge of poultry and help others.

On 31st March 2017 Hen’Pals will be hosting a charity auction to raise much needed funds for the British Hen Welfare Trust. The auction will be held on our group when bids can be placed against each item. More information can be found further down.

We are currently in the process of obtaining donations of items to auction off.

We have already been contacted by some wonderful and generous people who have offered some very nice items to put into our charity auction. However, we are still in need of more items to auction off in order to make this a success, so if you are able to help, please contact us at gem.bavington@hotmail.com or PM me via Facebook on this link if you can help.

For those of you who are looking at supporting our charity auction by joining in the bidding fun, the items that we have in the catalogue so far and how it will work can be found below.

There are other items that have been offered but we are still awaiting either photos or descriptions of items before we publish them. We will aim to get these posted here as soon as the information is available.

How does the auction work?

On the day of the auction (about 6am) the auction lot cards will be posted to our Hen’Pals Facebook group. Fro there you can bid on the item(s) of your choice via commenting your bid amount under the correct lot card. Just as you do in any auction, if someone bids higher than you and you wish to increase your bid then comment your next bid amount. The highest bidder at close of auction will win the auction item.
